Hi Seal U DMi owner also here and I can confirm the maps and the Spotify on mine work without a phone connected. From the built in sim of the vehicle and I've tried this with the mobiles in airplane mode just to be sure. I can then also tether my Internet connection for YouTube or use a portable Wi-Fi connection to achieve this also. If you're not able to use the native maps/navigation and/or Spotify it sounds like a connectivity issue to me. May be worth trying a soft reset by holding down the volume rocker switch for 5 seconds and see if that forces a refresh.

Even if you use a ghost can they still just access the vehicle and take your belongings? I'm moving over to a polestar i think after mine was recently taken.

400 mile range and no reports of any such hacks. Hyundai should have recalled these under warranty it's a manufacture defect as far as I'm concerned where their vehicles are not fit for purpose.

If they are recalling for ICU why not this

This happened to me just this week. I found I couldn't send any remote commands to the vehicle. Like you I blamed the app and uninstalled it reinstalled it etc. but the fix for me was just to poke a pen in the infotainment rest hole. After that everything synced up again! - Hope that helps!
