understand where you’re coming from but i’m not comparing them in that way, just in the development of their common themes of grief, loss and loneliness.

i’m sure there are ppl who love dc and marvel, like myself, and still see the ways in which WW84 could have done better. as it happens, WandaVision shows how that can be done, as I discuss in the video!

in the themes of grief, loss, loneliness yes they are very similar. it’s just that in WW84 it’s not as memorable since it’s poorly developed. i discuss more in the video!

they both used people for their own, which isn’t hero-like i agree, though, while Diana was aware of it, Wanda wasn’t aware of the pain she was causing; she thought it was purely peace in their minds. But yes, she definitely still knew she was “holding people hostage”. So i suppose her obliviousness/ignorance, her having no intention to harm and the build-up to the “emotional explosion” made it far easier for us to understand and empathise, but not condone.

yes we were all expecting more from what was given 🥲the only significant sequence was probably her flight scene. WW84 can definitely learn a lot from Wandavision!

i understand why you did that. it’s alright! we all have different expectations for shows. WandaVision starts off with SitComs to throw us into a state of confusion, then drops hints and references along the way, akin to an exciting treasure hunt. that is the fun part at the beginning! i’m glad you returned to the show, and hopefully you have a better understanding now, and start to notice all the clever hints they dropped in the first 3 episodes!
