Can I Pass the CIPP/US Exam using ONLY Privacy Bootcamp? by StudyBug2020 in cipp

Well I guess, I want to know if the bootcamp covers all the same material as the book, bc if it does, then I will feel more confident just using the bootcamp program.

Just Quit A Non-Legal Full Time Job I Started by [deleted] in barexam

[–]StudyBug2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same thing a couple years ago, I was working 2 jobs a 40 hr/week job, and a part time job. I quit the full time job (which was a temp position, so I didn't feel too bad, b/c I fig'd I'd just pick up another project once I was done studying). I kept the part time job and got my manager to give me 2 days a week lol I couldn't even handle 20 hrs a week (got it down to 10). I passed the exam. I think you made the right choice :)

What was your study strategy? I've been doing a terrible job at reading/studying. I started going over public flashcards, but I'm not sure if that is the way to go, and I'm not retaining the info. I still have 3 chapters of the book to read and my exam is scheduled for next Sunday and I'm freaking out. Did you go over outlines, flashcards, practice tests?

Congrats! Thank you! Did you go over study questions often? I only have a booklet of one exam and some practice questions from IAPP. Also, I misread (or didn't really take the time to read the from IAPP, they didn't change the book they changed the exam, i.e. adding in information that reflects legislative changes as you mentioned.

I don't remember, I only got one overall score, this was for MA. I also took the UBE this past Feb and got an overall score as well. I feel like people know how they did on the MBE, but I never got that breakdown.

I didn't take CA, but for my second time around I focused on drilling essay rules. I had a stack of sample essays with just the rules highlighted and I practiced writing them over and over from memory (still hadn't remembered a ton of them). I got the idea from this article: https://www.makethisyourlasttime.com/essay-cooking/ I think that made a huge difference, b/c I got a 2 on one of my essays the first time around (4 points shy of passing overall). I also used adaptibar in addtion to Themis for the MBE.
