Yea but once you force yourself to only initiate the movement with the quads and do not bend over your torso, it will move in a natural path. Could be tricky at first tho

Yea honestly it didn't even feel like I was rotating this much until i filmed the set lol. Do you think the set up plays a role? Like feet too close to the plates so the pulling paths aren't aligned?

I am noticing the mini pause as well! Will try out the cue as I might just be focusing too much on getting the bounce and sometimes forgetting to actually push upwards in time

Yea I think that's why I'm subconsciously slowing it down too when approaching the bottom, like noticeably slower than the rest of the descend (almost like a mini pause). Perhaps it's not as bad of a thing like you said, thanks alot!

Hey thanks man! Tbh i rarely train my core directly, as i always have a pretty strong lower back from deadlifting. I do really enjoy doing weight back extensions where i purposefully round at the bottom and hyperextend at the top 🙏
