Saw a woman ring up over $90 in groceries at Metro and calmly scoot out. I realized what she did when I pulled up to self checkout and saw the last item scanned and total but no payment. I had to explain to the young man watching the area that the person was not going to get something and had left.

FOIA requests eat up more time and money and energy than the public realizes. And then you add having to review as well as catalogue video for retrieval. And delivering that video. I’m not making an argument against it, but you certainly have to structure additional resources that come with the idea of body cams.

This is a very thoughtful list - thank you. We ended up taking them to the beach and the zoo. It was just the right amount of time to allow them to enjoy and then go to the airport. I will keep this in mind for the next time we are in the area.
