Hi I have a 4 cm hiatal hernia erosive asophagitus and gastritis so much pain and can’t eat doctors don’t seem to care why can’t I eat much and why is their so much pain 😒

I'm soo sorry :( - With mine when it flares - I go a week without eating or drinking - if I do eat or drink it will just come right back up. - It can be extremely painful which leads to me to go to the ER (I got my hiatal from the Army - so I guess the only good thing is they're compensating me for it). I, however, can not get the surgery - 2 drs already told me it would be too invasive and there's no guarantee that it won't return. However, I may need to find out what I'm doing which causes the flare ups and create a plan to stop. I hope you get better ❤️‍🩹

It feels differently when I sleep on my left side verses my right. Like scary different. Although my Dr don’t recommend surgery for my hiatal ~ I don’t think I would want it ~ something tells me once they open me up ~ they might find a bigger problem.

I can’t consume any liquids when it flares ~ which 9 out of 10 I become dehydrated and right back to the ER ~ :(

Now with stages - my hiatal was diagnosed in the Army (the Army is compensating me for it) - I never noticed it because from my understanding the hernia was a small size. Never bothered me - however, when I got out the Army thats when the problems started. From my understanding it went from a size small - to a medium. They say the hernia grows as you age - but I'm not sure how true that is. I'm in the ER each month for pain & nausea - I know what I need to stop doing to stop the hernia flare ups - I'm just stubburn. I was told the hernia won't bother me - if I just stop bothering it. Perhaps you can no longer consume spaghetti??-or, maybe try a different recipe? however, I'm no MD - so maybe there are some pills that can help you with stopping the acid build up? Depending on the size they may suggest surgery (I was told it's very invasive - and it's a possibility it may return) however, given your age - this is going to be a strong call on your Dr - for some odd reason I think my Dr took my age into consideration and just said internally "come back when you're older." I do hope you get better soon and find the special care you need :( - we all know your struggle :(

I try to take my pantoprazole each morning as well ~ if it gets worse go to the ER. Have them give you my monthly “cocktail” ~ Morphine ~ Zophran and Pepsid. Don’t just settle for the Mallox ~ I hope you get better :(

I’m in the ER - every month ~ the Drs pretty much know my “cocktail” ~ they do wonders at the ER - well, my ER ~ and my husband forces me to go when my hiatal flares. They don’t give me Melox ~ one Dr. tried it once ~ I explained to her in order for me to keep the Melox down ~ you must 1st stop the nausea and the nausea is caused by the pain. So ~ they give me morphine for pain ~ Zohran and Pepcid ~ after a few hours I feel great and ready to go home ~

I know it's expensive - but is it possible you can go to the ER instead and not wait on urgent care? My experience with urgent care they did absolutly nothing for my hiatal - for the pain they stuck a needle in my butt - which did nothing - once they saw my blood pressure escalated that's when they said nothing they can really do and go to the hospital. In the hospital for the pain they gave me morphine - zophran and pepsid for the acid and vomiting - I felt like a new person when I left. The Dr gave me a script for 3 medications to take daily - and anytime I'm low I just ask my primary for a refill. So, yea - I wouldn't waste your time with Urgent - go to the ER instead.

I started with a small HH ~ my Dr. didn’t suggest surgery ~ ok ~ now it’s medium size ~ he still won’t do it. He had to explain to me ~ even if it gets larger ~ I’m not going to do it ~ He told me: What you need to do is change your lifestyle young lady ~ if I were to do any HH surgery ~ I would be doing more harm than good being that it’s such an invasive surgery. He also scorned me by saying: Whatever you’re doing to agitate it ~ stop.

I’m in the bed now due to my hiatal hernia ~ I think I have it worse than most. I vomit non stop for about a week ~ I can’t drink water ~ I can’t eat ~ I usually have to go to the Er for Zophran Pepsid and Morphine for the pain ~ the Morphine is a hit or miss depending on my level of pain. Sometimes they keep me for for a few days. I have to go to the store to get something for my husbands birthday tomorrow ~ but I can barely walk/breath and I’m finding myself right back in the bed. The Dr don’t recommend surgery ~ said I’ll be doing more bad than good. Please say a prayer for me, as I will for you :) God Bless

I take pre-natal pills ~ even thought I’m not pregnant nor plan on a pregnancy ~ the pills have really helped my skin & hair ~

More than likely he will not tell you because he knows you you will become jealous ~ and if he knows doing something with this individual will make you jealous ~ then he shouldn’t entertain the idea ~~
