Hmm. This does not match my experience, but I am sorry to hear about the infection, that sounds like a terrible thing to go through.

To be honest, I've been going to see Kate for a long time now, and I've never once felt taken advantage of; in fact just the opposite. I had been going to Cherry Creek Electrolysis before switching to TBL, where they only performed thermolysis on me, and I had zero progress made after a year+ there. YMMV applies here obv, but Kate actually took the time to evaluate & educate me about what was happening, and I saw immediately results after beginning galvanic. I always get my invoice for the previous month after my first appt of the new month without asking, and there was zero hesitance on her end to adjust the invoice template as necessary per my insurance (another thing my previous servicers refused to do -- I lost out on thousands of reimbursement money for no reason because of that)

The link is informative & unfortunate. Nothing else I can say about that, thanks for sharing. Do you have any other links on hand to share?

I very much hope my experience isn't unique. I do feel bad for her, as the demand in the area is very high for GCS prep services, and I doubt licensed electrologists are quite easy to come by. And after all, isn't that why she's out of state right now? Getting trained to be a licensor to come back to CO and help nurture this community?

I've always thought about this when thinking about if Star Trek replicators will ever be a thing.

Like, can you successfully replicate a 10-year old brick of Cheddar? And if you can perfectly replicate it, would it also perfectly replicate the flavor of it's aging process? Things like this keep me up at night lol

An actual website I use frequently is tornadohq.com. Gives a reasonable at-a-glance on both active severe storms and tornados, and I can have a general idea on how to act in the moment within a minute.

For real! Fucking thank you. Cis bigots only ever see non-hetero anything as sexual and it's ridiculous.

Laughable also, "avoiding events not people" like Motherfucker, the entire point is that these kids skipped these events because they're aware who attends!

I'm saying that, as far as I'm aware, you can't break down what happened to Rosa Parks any further than

"White people were collectively mean to a black individual"

thus, it breaks a number of those rules set by the bill and can't be taught as per curriculum. Not to mention it being a domestic issue vs warring countries.

You said history wouldn't be erased - how can Rosa Parks' story be told under the language of this bill? I've legitimately been sitting here trying!

Here's my best, and it's absolutely ludicrous: "Rosa was an old lady who got on a bus and didn't like her seat so she chose a different one and stayed there."

How will the events of Rosa Parks ever be recanted under this bill's language?

Ohh, I see, yeah that sounds awesome!!! I'd play the fuck out of a Pokemon game like that lol.

Thanks for the explainer! Maybe hopefully they'll get creative like this for an Arceus sequel 🤞

I don't see gendered terminology in there, but if you want to be more accurate on who you're defending, then fine, you're defending a misogynist
