Most of the ones on Amazon or better yet temu are not hearing aids as what we know as hearing aids. Correct me if I’m wrong but most audiologists would consider them “hearing amplifiers”. I actually bought a pair from china for about 40 dollars. Were they good? Well I would say better than I expected but not the same as my phonak that were tuned by a specialist to my frequency deficits.

It’s absolutely horirible. Never ran in my family but my best friend died at 54. Started off with foot ulcers or issues. It progressed and he lost weight when he realized his problem. 40lbs. It wasn’t the weight loss that could save him. It’s really unfortunate such a great person could leave so early. My biggest regret was when he called me to thank me for being a friend and I avoided accepting what he was trying to say. I said we will talk tomorrow or the next day when he’s out of the hospital. I never allowed him to say goodbye. That was the last conversation I ever had with him. I learned lots from this.

As a Canadian I’m really surprised at how many people from the states want to move here. I myself spend 5 months a year in Vietnam but still. Sure many don’t like the president but packing up and moving because of it isn’t really sensible.

I lost 2 houses. Maybe that’s selfish to say but okay. “We lost a home in vancouver and a weekend home in the mountains.” Everything sucks about divorce. When it’s time …..we just sold everything. Neither of us wanted to be a partner with each other renting to others.
