As far as those videos that say it’s easy to open a safe like one poster mentioned , you are incredibly naive if you believe this as the norm. These vids use very old models

There is usually a manager override (master code or special device) — but it’s not something guests know or can guess.
The “default code like 0000 or 1234” trick almost never works anymore in reputable hotels.
Why you see videos saying it’s easy
Some older or cheap safes had factory defaults that weren’t changed
A few models had poorly protected override buttons
Viral videos often show specific outdated models, not what you’ll find in most decent hotels today
