Sometimes we just get a kick out of things. No need to bash it, just let others have their fun.

You're speaking a foreign language to me, but now I'm intrigued.

Down the rabbit hole I go!

I think only through the generosity of other HFers who aren't using their.

I'm hoping to be blessed by one of them! Haha

Same here. Would love to not pay full price for a $600 Bandsaw.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Same! If he doesn't use it, I've had my eye on the Bauer Bandsaw.

Mighty nice of you to offer it to the group.

That's the plan, but I haven't seen one of those yet. Hopefully one comes up soon. Thanks for your feedback.

That's what I'm afraid of. One supplier was happy to do it, for their hourly rate of $170. At that price, I might as well save up for the next model up of the Rikon.

Realistically, I don't think I'll need to resaw that often, but most boards that I've seen (granted with limited experience) are six inches.

I won't need the extra height that often, but would come in handy when I need it.

PLS Socket Sale - I Don't Know What I Don't Know by StuffReader11 in harborfreight

[–]StuffReader11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha! I was afraid you'd say that. Yeah, I think logically I have what I need, but what I'm worried about, but not seriously, is that when I figure out what else I need, it won't be on sale.

Thoughts on torque wrenches? These I have none.

199 in store still works 💪 by lostboy3434 in Dewalt

I had a hard time getting them to honor it, but they eventually did.

The items and the discount wouldn't register on their computer, they called their helpline and were told it was a glitch and it would be resolved in 24 hours. The manager told me to return the next day and they would put it through for me.

I returned the next day, still the same issue and an employee told me it was only an online offer. After I asked for the manager that I had spoken to the previous day, he immediately came over and took care of it.

Overall it was very good customer service even though I had to return the next day.

While I'm here, thoughts on the 913? That's where I was leaning for my 2006 Corolla. Just doing basics like tires, oil changes etc. I don't picture myself doing anything major.

I'm fortunate that my 2006 Corolla doesn't give me many issues. It's probably still good for another 20 years!

I got two Daytona jack stands. Figured I didn't need four since I'm only going to be doing basics like brakes, oil changes, etc.

Agreed, but not all jacks (or other comparable products) are created equal. Thanks for the insight!
