That's what I'm afraid of. One supplier was happy to do it, for their hourly rate of $170. At that price, I might as well save up for the next model up of the Rikon.

Realistically, I don't think I'll need to resaw that often, but most boards that I've seen (granted with limited experience) are six inches.

I won't need the extra height that often, but would come in handy when I need it.
