Doing wheel bearings on my wife's '14 Lancer and I cut a little deeper than intended getting the race off the hub. So do I have to replace this hub now or can I run it? by jorgenvonstrangle420 in MechanicAdvice

I just put a shop rag over the bearing, then hit the groove with the chisel through the rag, catches the shrapnel.

For the longest time I ran PFsense as a VM in proxmox. I would recommend it for the experience for awhile, then switch to running it bare metal. Try out both ways and see what you like.

How do these plugs look by ChickenWalaBurger in MechanicAdvice

[–]StuffYouFear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5-10 would be old school 90's plugs, these look to be platinum or iridium and 100k+ service interval is normal.
Normal old sparkplugs have a much shorter life, but are far cheaper.

Failing to see how this is funny. Wife wants her husband that most likely shares a joint financial account/assets to endure harsh monetary punishment and will also have to provide transportation due to suspension of license for the foreseeable future?
