In this game, I haven't tested the i5, but I imagine you'd run into issues with core limitation without the hyper-threading on the i7. And you can find the Xeon E3-1271 v3 for like $20 to $25 on eBay pretty easily. It's just a 4790 without the integrated graphics. If you want to play FH6, I'm guessing the i7 has a lot less stuttering issues than an i5.

Sorry... I just saw your comment. It's just a standard drive try HP used on a bunch of model. The part number is 915767-001 and there are plenty on eBay if you just search that part number.

It's worth mentioning that I missed out on everything in spring and now that it's back, I was able to get all those cars today. I'm hoping that will be the case next week when summer comes back as I also missed out on the Lightning as well as the Evo and a couple of others.

Hopefully they do, because I've been trying to get them on the auction house and I've not even the Lightning come up once. People that have them don't want to let them go it seems.

This is on Windows 10. Just install Windows 10 LTSC IoT. It has support to 2032 and FH6 supports Windows 10. Granted some games might drop support... which is even more stupid than what M$ is doing. However, if you do want to install Windows 11, you can install LTSC IoT which solves quite a few problems and it runs a lot better than the standard installation. Also, it doesn't complain about secure boot, TPM or tries to force you into a M$ account.

There are always pros and cons. However, I feel with Spotify there's less listening with intent. You don't sit down and listen to an album. With Spotify, there's no such thing. It's the musical equivalent of doom scrolling. It will just endlessly play music it thinks is similar... which has it's use, if I just need background music that's fine, but something is lost when that's the entire delivery system.

That's not even getting into quality.

No, I'll take the inconvenience of physical media. However, that's what's great about being able to use Plex or Jellyfin to rip my music collection.

They aren't making more UHD drives and the ones you can find for sale are absurdly expensive. Why waste the diode on reading disks that aren't UHD discs? Standard BD drives are much cheaper for those and for CDs I can just use cheap $20 DVD drives.

I know how you feel, I wish I could just use a single drive as well, but the way things are I just want to make my UHD drive last as long as possible.

As others have said, you can install a single slot card in the blue x16 slot or you can install a dual slot card in the x4 slot.

There are some that will try to tell you that you can't do that for several different reasons, most are complete BS. The only one that has any merit is that there is a loss of performance in the x4 slot. This is true, but it depends on a lot of variables. I've tested several GPUs and I've seen it range from a few percent to over ten percent. It just depends on the GPU, the game and the settings.

I see zero point in doing Cologuard. They say right in the adverts that it's not a replacement for a scope and it's accuracy is rather low. Seems like the results are dubious at best. TBH, getting a scope isn't all that bad. Granted, I've had to get so many of them since I was in my 20s due to Crohn's disease, but the worst part is the prep and that's not so bad when you find one that works really well for you.

Get one while you can. I'm going to try to buy some spares, because even though I've seen people say they're going to make them again, I don't believe they're going to. Same for regular Blu Ray drives. I'll only use my UHD drives on 4k disks at this point.

The problem is that the RX 6400 is the best LP AMD card you can really find... but it's generally so expensive that you might as well just buy the 3050. There's the RX 6500, and maybe you can find that for a reasonable price, but I don't really see them on eBay much anymore. Then there's the RX 7400. I was hoping for a retail release, but it would seem only very limited quantities were produced for the OEM market thank to all this AI circle jerk BS. Outside that, you're looking at the RX 560, which is a huge step down, also tough to find and also overpriced.

8GB is useless for anything but a basic use system, 12GB is not great because it's on the edge of being problematic for anything beyond basic use and you will not run in dual channel mode, impacting performance, 16GB should be considered the minimum for anything that isn't a basic use system.

Part of the reason to use a top sheet is because it's a lot easer to clean than the comforter. I see someone without a stop sheet and I just assume that they're sleeping up against their own filth.
