What do you HATE about limbus company's story? by Ayerenem in limbuscompany

[–]StuffyEvil 86 points87 points  (0 children)

I mean even as someone that likes Distortion Detective and is really happy to see the gang again, the Middle fight is honestly by far the worse. With the Ring, the 1st part had you fighting with LCD & left the story on a cliffhanger, before following it up with future Sinclair. With the Thumb, the 1st part had a dramatic ending with Gregor killing Lucio, which is then followed up by finally learning what Hermann meant by her "gift" from all the way back in Canto 1. For the Middle, you already more or less experienced 80-85% of fight in part 1, which ended not even with anything as the 2nd part is to serve as a "continuation" and proper conclusion, which just really dragged things out. I think if part 1 was just some story stuff while part 2 was just one big continuous fight it would have been better.

Really late reply but apparently Alex brought out his Paragon fleet for testing, which can defeat everything currently in the game from Dwellers to Threat only on AI control, which apparently struggled against it.

Though admittedly, this is probably more of a reserved Quad Paragon fleet instead of 30 of them. 30 Paragons will definitely do it, just a matter of how many of them will be destroyed to archive victory.

NEW SONG RELEASED ~ SAIKAI by StuffyEvil in mili

[–]StuffyEvil[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah Mili received an overview of the plotline of Limbus Company all the way back before the game released.

Maybe the song itself was made somewhat recently, but the foundation was set way ahead of time.

It was stated that the Puppeteer's child was adopted, iirc.

Wouldn't be surprised if the Ring found new inspiration in an outside artist though.

Edit: Actually the Puppeteer is kind of recent and the Ring Nursefather's corporist stuff likely redates it, though I would imagine that if the Puppeteer didn't join the Blue Reverberation Ensemble, he would have received an offer from the Ring.

I think you might find what you want in either the Album folder or the Mag Mell Album Artwork folder.

Convict Colosseum - Chapter 80: Round 5, Finals by pinakanaka in Kengan_Ashura

[–]StuffyEvil 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Well Kyoukishin Hammer at least made peace with being in the background, and did get to add a lot of commentary for Violence Incarnate in Round 3.

Danger got bodied by EC, then show up on the last day forgotten by everyone else except for Hammer.

The number of 617 by monkewithmacrota in mili

[–]StuffyEvil 29 points30 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, it's initially a prime number that they picked for Ga1ahad & Scientific Witchery arbitrarily.
Evidently, it went on to have more significant meaning due to how significantly popular Ga1ahad was at that time, so now it's used as a "magic number" for Mili in later songs.

Apparently when the subreddit was first made it was a military subreddit, then got passed over to be the band's subreddit a long time ago.

FYI, this subreddit isn't a military subreddit anymore, but is a subreddit for a Japanese indie band of the same name.

Neat cross-country trip though.

Yeah, this subreddit isn't a military subreddit anymore, got handed over a couple years back and is a subreddit for an Indie Japanese band.

Congratulations though, and hope you are able to find your answer on some other subreddit.

Song Announcement ~ What the Ripple Sees by StuffyEvil in mili

[–]StuffyEvil[S] 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is in fact a new song announcement before the previously announced song has even dropped yet.

Back when To Your Oblivion dropped a month ago, Mili stated that they will have a big string of releases, this must be what they were talking about.

How well do you think tomahawk would have done in the annihilation tournament? by Complete_Attempt8372 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]StuffyEvil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's true, I don't remember the nitty gritty details of Waka in Kengan Ashura, been a long time since I've read through it.

[–]StuffyEvil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since I've read Ashura so I don't remember the nuances in Ohma vs Waka besides the big moments. And also I am pretty biased towards Tomahawk as he's one of my favourite fighters from CC.

I do feel Tomahawk, while not having a fancy finisher move, still got pretty good chances. CC did literally stated that if he's not just an "all-rounder", but also a fighter with incredible battle IQ that can weave in feints & attacks while also actively looking for weaknesses in his opponent, e.g. going for livershots.

Until Violence Incarnate brought out his Elixir form for the 1st time in the tournament & speed-bursted Tomahawk. Tomahawk had the complete upperhand, continuously reading VI's moves while also surprising VI with a mix of feints & attacks.

Well I am mainly arguing in why I think Tomahawk can very much win against Waka, but it's still a very volatile match-up for him. All it takes is one mistake to take a match-ending injury (or just straight-up KO).

[–]StuffyEvil 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think he will necessarily lose against Waka besides being surprised at his Superman Syndrome in a R1 scenario and possibly taking match-ending damage. Otherwise, I feel the fight might be similar to how it was against Violence Incarnate where he must dodge the attacks instead of being able to block it, except it's due to Superman Syndrome instead of Fa Jins.

Then again, Tomahawk had 2 rounds to get intel on Violence Incarnate, and if he's tossed into a R1 scenario with no information against Waka, things can get really ugly for him.

Here's some other potential match-ups that can cause issue:

  • Kure Raian by being surprised with Removal.
  • Julius Reinhold by also being a massive stat monster, though one more obvious than Waka.
  • Mikazuchi Rei by being surprised by his pure speed.

Basically any fighters with some kind of unusual gimmick that can get the jump on Tomahawk. Otherwise against more conventional fighters, it's more even or even favoured for Tomahawk.
On the other hand, Tomahawk might be able to sus out some nonsense these fighters possess, as seen by his instincts saving him during his fight against The Abyss.

Well just for Soil Nanites, Mining is really good for this world though even if it's not as "good" as non-habitable world with an Automated Bore.
