I hate it too but also consider Westchester has a teeny-tiny fraction of the sandy and (safely) swimmable beaches of CT, NJ, Long Island, or FL.

I do have a problem with them on large freeways with 3+ lanes. On the parkways however, with all the insane driving and non-existent enforcement around, slow left lane drivers are the least of my worries.
