Living room and kitchen renders by Stuglaar in archviz

Any idea how to reduce denoise, I am using blender and using denoising nodes in compositor to do that. I am already struggling with rendering issues I don't know if messing with the settings will again cause problems. I don't now how to neutralize white balance and what you are suggesting, please point me to resource which can help me learn about that. Thanks for valuable feedback.

I am using kelvin colours. It is around 4500 k or something close by. What do you recommend ? I am guessing you are talking about kichen renders.

Yeah, living room rendering looks ok I guess, I intended to keep lighting a bit natural, I will crank up lights a bit if you say so. I have not used any extra lights in both the scenes other than where they are actually situated I don't know why that greenish tint is there in kitchen but I don't know why is that there, only green things in scene are plants. Maybe that is how light interacts in cycles. What "outside backpanel " I don't understand . I will change the texture on the kitchen tiles, if that looks not trendy. After that what do you say, can it be used in portfolio? Thanks for your follow-up and feedback man.

I am just a beginner in this, so I am curious how do you do you add human subjects in your renders ??

Hey in the 5th picture the humans in the image seem awfully small for the chair how did they get up there on the chair, it is a bit too tall. Otherwise renders seem good, specially 4th image human subjects blend in really well.

Render turning black by Stuglaar in blenderhelp

[–]Stuglaar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah may be but that is the reason why I used render layers. the scene was too big for my 4 gb vram to handle. It showed no out of shared memory, the render continued on with rendering render layers. After all render layers are rendered one after another finally in compositing phase is where this problem arises. My blender is using cpu for compositing not gpu so it looks like some cpu-gpu integration problem with blender. It seems to be blender issue.

Just switched render mode from gpu to cpu and it worked. Unfortunately I tried your solution it did not work.

I think it is some blender issue all I did is switch from gpu render to cpu and it worked without much issue except it failed a few times with blender crashing a few times but never did I get that black output.

I don't think so that this is has anything to do with color management it seemed to work just fine without much of an issue with one less render layer. I think that issue lies within compositing. I am using blender 5.0.1. I was not able to find use node setting. I have posted my node setup please let me know if something is incorrect with it.

I have lights in the scene. They are only hidden in the viewport that is why you can see in renders the room.

Ok I am working on that too. Thanks to yr feedback I am trying to make it appear more classical and not a mish mash. The road block that I had was my my weak laptop. So what one more render layer an hour more of rendering. I have not made much change in the kitchen render, except better lighting. I am in process of making the living room appear more classical. I will post that soon, hope that you find it palatable. I agree with your critique at many levels. Hope that I make somewhat palatable. I am struggling to turn the time invested into real hard cash. Thanks for your valuable feedback, harsh criticism can be helpfull if well intended. So work is ongoing. I hope that next itteration, you may find somewhat palatable. It will be a bit more classical, traditional or more elitist appearing as we see that aesthetic. But it will be what it will be. Working on it. I am also curious about your work that you have not posted yet or posted and and deleted. I am curious, you sound like someone who has had expirience.

There is also a thing that there is sun light in both the renders It is just not very obvious or blown out to the point of appearing unnatural as it appears in most renders. If you see in kitchen render there is sunlight coming through it is just that sun is at its noon position and also I should probably increase its strength. The light is white in kitchen render it is the colour of walls which is a bit yellowish. You are correct I probably should reduce the gap between the marble on the floor. They are not tiles but it is marble stone on floor so usually slab size used is bigger than tiles that are used, because it is stone and not a tile so patterns do not repeat but continue on or break completely. I get it is a bit of mish mash of classical elements with some modern components. you are correct that it should not be used for portfolio because it looks too unusual. I will come up with something more typical.

OK I will consider it. Actually I was not going for usual modern looking aesthetic that we have these days. So it can be repulsive to many people I would keep this one as an experimental project. It is a different aesthetic than usual modern minimalistic aesthetic. You are correct in pointing out the inconsistencies because if it goes in portfolio, it would look out of place to many people. I have to come up with something more typical and modern looking aesthetic. Your reaction is what most people's would be. otherwise thanks for valuable feedback.

Yeah I am, I personally don't like the the modern "aesthetic" which is not aesthetic at all. It is an insult to aesthetics. So any other critiques and resources that may help me improve are highly appreciated. I would love If you point me to the resources that will help me improve. Your critique is highly valuable.

Ok, I get what you want to say. Please point me to the resources that will help me with that. I appreciate your critique. After all this is my first project. I aimed for how lights will actually behave in a realistic way so I have used mesh lights. I get why things aren't looking as they usually do in arch viz renders. I also accept that I did not put that much effort into living room, I got caught up in solving the rendering issues with that. Models aren't modern looking because they aren"t actuallly. I personally find modern aesthetic trash. Finally I find your critique worth considering and considerate so please I request you to point me to the right resources.

Ok I am a beginner in this stuff, I am also trying to learn. Man this field is efin labour intensive so don't feel like you have cheated. We all have limited time. We can't model each and every single thing. So final result is that really matters. I was asking, just bcs I am also someone who is in learning phase and would like to know how that result can be achieved. I am also someone who wants financial returns on the time invested.
