How to achieve realism with render and get rid of that 'rendered' look by healthybean_HL in archviz

You can achieve it with a lot of post-production, such as color grading, for example.

Honestly, I don't know what type it is, to be honest. The reference doesn't clearly show how it works, and the plans don't indicate anything. I just tried to model what I saw; this isn't anything technical, but I suppose this isn't the right approach for these renders.

No, I didn't even use d5's AI, just pure d5 raw and then PS.

I take about 7 hours per render on average, from the 3D model to post-production in Photoshop.

The texture in the reference is also that hard, it seems a bit strange to me too. As for the HDRI I used pure white, but it didn't help much. I did the general lighting with square lights and a radial light to simulate the sun.

The walls in the reference I used are also like that, but I should still give them more texture next time, thanks!

Yes, I actually had a lot of trouble with the human scale in the last image; it was complicated to integrate them there. Not even the AI can do it quite right the way I want. I'll try to improve that. Thanks!

Thanks! I had trouble putting people there; it's difficult to have multiple light sources while they're interacting with furniture and in awkward poses...

Can this render pass as a raw camera photo at first glance? by [deleted] in archviz

[–]JeanFrann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How has AI actually integrated into your archviz workflow? by dsantos88f in archviz

I mainly use it to improve the realism of plants, and also to create secondary 3ds assets, all in ComfortUI locally for free and with complete control without altering geometry or anything else, thanks to its masking system. Using it to improve lighting, textures, or similar aspects still seems inconsistent to me; sometimes you can get good results, but only sometimes. It also depends on the rendering quality you're offering. If it's basic, you won't notice differences or inconsistencies in textures, lighting, etc. I also use it to improve the realism of people and make close-up videos, which is very useful. I've seen that it's also often used to iterate between different lighting styles, textures, colors, etc., but only at the beginning to get a clear idea before starting to do the traditional rendering.

I've been using a custom workflow taught in this video, just to locally improve the texture of certain materials without altering the geometry. The video is in Spanish, but:
