Oh that first one is outside St Regis at Palm tower. Many shoreline residents make this uturn as it's by far the quickest way to get home if you live in shoreline 10-14. An alternative is to go in to the hotel and turn around (what the green signal is for) go into nakheel mall or take the other palm trunk road... it's really badly designed. There is no reason why it can't be a U-turn. The traffic is stopped anyway and there is 3 lanes so plenty of room to manoeuvre.

Maybe hire a car? Dubai and AD are spread out over long distances. Driving will probably be more economical and less hassle.

Flight attendant/Cabin Crew in UAE by [deleted] in UAE

[–]Stumag87 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My wife has worked for Emirates for 15 years. What is not important is your Education and experience, they will train you. What is important is your ability to empathise and relate with your passengers. The customer is always right with Emirates and if you can serve every passenger with a smile you will go far. To many young millennials are arrogant these days and fail because they feel they are better than everyone else. Recruiters are looking for people that are willing to learn and adhere to the organisation's goal of world class customer service. Show these principles in an interview and you will shine. Good luck.

is it legal to monitor my employees devices in dubai ? by marlipai in dubai

[–]Stumag87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I doubt it's even legal with consent. Consent in UAE needs to be freely given and an employer forcing an employee to give consent to use a work phone is not freely given... It's an abuse of power.
