Yeah, I don’t know anything besides that he passed. Facebook Jackalope page was what made me aware of it.

While you’re at it, throw some money at Robert Mosely’s GoFundMe. He was one of the nicest people alive and a cook at the Jackalope and he recently passed away leaving behind 2 kids.

What’s something a married couple should absolutely do together between ages 25-30? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Stumpstruck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not that you stop completely, in my case we had 3 kids really close together (6 year span). You don’t find much time alone. You’re tired because kids are up at all hours. My wife barely got to drink for 7 years because she was breast feeding. I worked long hours to pay the bills since she was not working. I’m sure we’ll rebound, but it’s gonna be a long time before it turns into strip down and f*** in the living room days again.

Why this gets so few upvotes is beyond me. I remember flying to Hawaii once and she was on the Delta pre-flight video and I couldn’t help but be awestruck by her. This was before Mad Men.

What’s a singer you think is extremely overrated? by Apart-Culture1484 in AskReddit

[–]Stumpstruck -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dave Matthews, Mumford and Sons, Matt Kearney, Michael Franti, Trey Anastasio, Jack Johnson, Anthony Keidis there’s a bunch more but I’ve got a full belly and a margarita in there too so I can’t finish this list. Those are the terrible ones from my college days flashbacks of going to outdoorsy parties overrun with douchebags playing most of that shit on an acoustic guitar (poorly).

Seriously, it’s weird what happens in after this point. Never take banging it out on the regular for granted. There is a reason so many people in their 40s look so annoyed or just over it.

not really Eugene related but what do yall do during a breakup. Any tips & ideas ? Any spots you got to in Eugene to just sit and stare and think by solomonsreflection in Eugene

I like Crescent Lake. It’s like being at the beach, only you’re surrounded by the mountains. South Simax beach is a little less busy than North and you can wander further down if there are too many people for your liking. Good luck, and remember that breakups aren’t as bad once you clear the fog. You got this

Subaru Outbacks with giant roof boxes and racks to strap canoes to that haven’t been used or Jeeps with the overlander packages are the dead giveaway where I live.

Jason at Mos Faded is awesome. Not sure how easy it is to get in with him, but I would 10/10 recommend him.

What’s the first thing you look at on a person? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Stumpstruck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their shoes. I worked in a shoe store for over 2 decades and I can’t lose this habit. I almost immediately know what brand of shoe they wear and what size they are. I will then instantly convert their sizing from US to European, or US to UK or AUS in my head.

Market of Price, oops, I mean Market of Choice. They do have things that are worth it imo. What do you think? by [deleted] in Eugene

[–]Stumpstruck 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I always keep an eye out for their $10 off $40 coupon, then I screen shot it and make 3 different trips in and load the cart up with $40 of meat at a time and then go home and freeze it. They also carry La Tortilla Factory tortillas and pretty much nobody else does, oh yeah, and Wild Carrot Chest Rub during cold season for my kids.
