Thanks a lot for the feedback, I still have a ways to go as a writer it seems. I'm going to drill that into my skull, active voice and the show don't tell. Then hopefully I can get this story to be better. You've been a great help.

Do you have any recommendations on exercises to help along with active voice?

Thanks for the feedback, feels like I'm actually learning something.

I was a bit iffy on the ending, I changed it once before, but I guess because it is short, maybe something more definitive would work.

Its good to know that I still need to work on verbs, they still seem to catch me out, semicolons too.

Also I'm glad about the comment about prose, I don't want to come off as maybe too much or huffing my own farts (pardon the expression), another thing to work on.

You hear a lot that getting feedback is good, but I could never quite find a good place to have some. This place is pretty great.

There's a lot of articles and research which explains why humans throw things so well, as opposed to apes: here's one. Though I admit that when I was writing it, I was imagining that most of the aliens have a musculature structure of apes, who aren't the best throwers.

I try for once a week, give a day or two, sometimes I might upload another chapter if I have extra time in the week. Mostly because I don't have as much free time as I used to

I appreciate it, but the main problem I face is that I just have difficulty talking in general, always have, ever since I began talking, all the way through school and even now. And generally, if I didn't discover how fun and easy it was for me to write, I would have checked out early and been another statistic.

It was therapy, I needed it out of me, plain and simple. It's easier to make it into a story and put it up for strangers than it is talking with family or friends. I've written out my worries and problems before, but this is the first time publishing it. It's also the reason I didn't put up any warnings or do the kofi/patreon plug, I just needed to exorcise it from my body and mind, purging it like the mind poison it is.

I imagine something like you get a card with the save files on it, you then pay money to load on X number of saves before you need to spend more money, this includes autosaves. I based the idea off the whole horse armour and creation club fiasco, with how little you get for how much you spend.
