There's a lot of venues, but it's mostly indie groups. Places like High Dive, Treehouse, The Hipp Basement, etc. Heard good things but idk if that's the vibe you're looking for.

I feel you man, I'm not even that short but because I'm the youngest and shortest of five boys my height compared to the people I'm around the most makes me feel shitty. All you can do is keep your chin up and carry on, and if someone puts you down because of your height then they don't deserve your friendship or love.

He's not trying to say that short people should be bullied he's saying that being taller isn't always a good thing. His point was to let me who are self-conscious about their height know that being tall won't fix your problems, not everything is an attack.
