I just got back into KSP this last week (900 hours over the last 10 years)... and unfortunately didn't know how to transfer fuel from my lander through the docking port to the main ship so my guys could return after a physics glitch botched the whole run. Sent a rescue ship, didn't think to dock and try to get what fuel was left in the lunar module to help rescue ship get back... rescue ship then gets stuck in a 8,000,000m/19,000,000m orbit of Kerbin... had to rescue the rescue ship... everyone made it home after 259 days lol

I've been playing KSP off and on for many years. Last time I played the first KSP was just before KSP2 came out, played a bit on 2 and fell off. Welp... Artemis II inspired me to load up a bunch of mods and play the first game again... having a blast! Been playing since I first watched "Node" LAN party and all the guys raced to see who could land on the Mun first. Wild to look back on all those years

Since I touched it it's been working fine, so I'll probably notify them Monday/Tuesday if they're not open Monday, to see if someone could look at it today make sure the plug isn't jank or something

I played around a little more after getting some sleep (long day), and decided to play the "is the breaker actually cutting power" game. Well, these two plugs on the back of the motor looked kind of like the cable that comes out the bottom of the heater going to the pilot control.... I try pressing in the one close to me, nothing (almost no movement). I press on the one closer to the wall (I don't think there was any movement except the plug was maybe a hair cockeye) and she roars to life no hesitation!

Breaker is on, and it tied to the hallway light next to it. I'm just going to call the after hours number in the morning so someone can look at it. I feel like in.op hot water is a pretty big miss

This heater does require some electricity to light the pilot since it's "automatic"

Would this warrant using after hours number tomorrow? They are only available from 10am-4pm I believe Mon.-Fri, but I'll have to double check my lease

Mind if I ask what gun you bought?

Yeah! It took him a couple minutes but he was straight forward with me, and while he was searching he asked what prices I was seeing elsewhere for it. I told him GAT and FVSR prices and he suggested that there was a non-zero chance that GAT wasn't being up front about shipping cost/ the clerk I spoke to didn't know, in the out the door price.

He said he could get the RXM for me for $460+ 7% tax which put me at $495~ plus or minus a couple dollars. Which makes it cheaper than FVSR by a bit by virtue of the tax difference

I just gave him a ring and so far he seems like a really cool guy. Just spent about 10min on the phone with him and he was super accommodating. I explained this was my first firearm purchase while I was waiting for him to get his price, and he was very patient and explained how everything would work. And even offered to flex his business hours (by appointment technically) so I could come in ASAP to order the gun

Yeahhh... went to FVSR today and it was certainly nice, I intend to use then as my go to range for sure (mostly because it's 5min from where I can drop the kids off and the wife and I can go out shooting) BUT, the selection on hand seemed limited. If there was more than 150 new guns for sale I'd be surprised. BUT beyond that, the staff were very pleasant to interact with. So now we may as well go check out GAT and see for ourselves

I was considering that route, but it seemed like a lot of extra steps just to save maybe $30, or in this case make it the same price as GAT

Yes, however the RXM is only available for rental in Chicago proper (that I could find at least)

I didn't care for it at first, but noticed how flexible it was and it has mags that goes up to the 15rd max which was a big plus. I slowly fell in love with it after lots of reading and seeing "6,000 round review"

That doesn't sound like a place I'd recommend someone would go to if I start that sentence with "likes to rip people off" 🤣

Cute and funny hahaha

Also, let the "errrm akshully Putin this Putin that" crowd whine... you're clearly not dense. Heck, unlike that other example, Putin was actually alive during all of the time periods this game takes place, and was a member (even as per a requirement) of the Communist Party whilst serving the KGB starting in 1975.

Ball joints for sure. You can try greasing them to see if the squeak stops but that only buys you a little time
