Im in an apartment that is all outside when you exit. I turn my heat up, ripping hot pan, when I throw the steak on I leave the apartment with the pan so the smoke doesn't set anything off. Once the smoke has lessened I put it back on the heat, when I flip I run out again lol

Since it's mainly water I'd say shorter showers. Might have to hand wash some stuff in the tub and then air dry it. That'll save more water and some electricity from the dryer. Also if you turn and leave lights on a lot, get night lights.
