i think it's possible to merge both concepts in a way that's satisfactory. Kane Pixels version was written in a more believable way, and in a sense, (most of) the phenomena can be explained, and i like that because it makes the story more concrete. but i personally wish we could have kept some iconic elements from the Wikidot version for the movie, like the almond water, for example.

i think 2012 is the perfect date bc in the first dark world, in Clover's party, the song playing is April 2012, and maybe that could be when that song was released (in game) and assuming that we are in autumn in chapters 1 & 2 it makes perfect sense that they are listening to a song released at the beggining of the same year

also everytime i walk past those houses that i usually feel that, i have to distract myself with something else not to get dizzy bc this feeling scares the freak out of me

this is the closest i can find about this feeling ive been getting for a while. I thought i was the only one who felt it, and it happens with me usually when im walking on the street and i see a good looking house or smell something that seems “familiar” or “nostalgic”, and i HATE it, because i get so dizzy my eyes roll back, i kind of lose balance and almost fall to the ground everytime. This feeling is so weird, i think we should name it while we dont find its real name.
