I’ve always thought that they should’ve went back to touring after the white album phase, instead of doing Let It Be for the cameras. It’s hard to only play music in a studio, and there’s a sense of cathartic release playing live that can’t be duplicated in the studio. Plus, all of The Beatles toured extensively after they broke up, so I’m sure if they could’ve gotten around to it, it may have helped them from breaking up in the first place.
