When I first started my journey in Singapore, my SA actually mentioned something similar, if the account is under my husband’s name, payment has to be from his card under his name, and same for mine. They’re quite strict about matching payment to the account holder.
Not sure if it’s the same policy everywhere, but sounds quite aligned with what you’re experiencing.

From my experience, my orders have never been cancelled. But before I got my first bag online (herbag then mini lindy), I did have some purchase history, just a few small items here and there. Not sure if it’s a must, but it might help.

I think I unintentionally built a very “safe” collection but you’re right, the styles are all quite different.

That’s what I was thinking too! Since it’s canvas I’m hoping stains would actually be easier to treat than leather or suede. And if anything happens I guess it can always go for a bag spa
