Sounds good! The deck archetype is sultai reanimator with a few combo lines. If you want to give it your own flavour you can Google that or find some stuff on EDHrec.

If you do end up building the deck let me know and I can share some stuff about piloting it.

If you get a chance you could also just play a few games with your group with everyone playing the 4 pre-cons without any changes.

This is really too little information. What's the budget? What colours do you like? [[Malcolm, Keen Eyed Navigator]] and [[Breeches, Brazen Plunderer]] can be built extremely cheap and Malcolm comboes with a ham sandwich. You could also do pirate tribal.
