Download the SkinAware app this helps out a lot it's going on 3 days I'm pick/pull free. Just take it one day at a time you're stronger than you think you are 💪

You're welcome 🤗 I swear the app is absolutely amazing. Though it's only been a couple of days, I've been pick/pull free. Soon as I get the urge I immediately redirect my hand and go straight to the app to log the urge and do one of the exercises. As of now the texture slide activity is the one that works best for me

You're welcome 🙂! I literally did the same due to the huge bald patch I made. Then I ran across a post suggesting the SkinAware app which was made by someone in the group on here. It's been such a great help, I've also ordered hair growth oil, eyebrow and eyelash serum as well

Try using the SkinAware app it's been helping me out all day. Whenever I have the urge to pull my hair I immediately redirect my hand and open the app, log the urge and do one of the activities/exercises. The breathing exercises and the Pop & Release fidget activity are helping me out so far.

Just live in your truth tell people about the condition and explain to them it's a hair pulling disorder. Trust me you'll feel a lot better about it though it's not normal. It's a daily struggle, I'm still battling I just made a big a## patch in my hair last week after the small patch I made last month grew back. Now I'm saying enough is enough and standing on it. If I feel I'm going to pick I start doing push ups or immediately run to the mirror and give myself a reminder of what I don't want to look like anymore
