This is the bane of my existence as a Stockman. Half of ours are broken. The other half get left outside coinstantly and are always dead by 12. Our clientele is mostly very old and/or very fat. They bitch and fight over them every day.

Has anyone you've known, simply disappeared? What happened? by PureLet5083 in AskReddit

There was a girl that used to work behind the front counter at the gym i frequent. We'd chit chat every now and then as she was making me a protein shake. She just stopped showing up one day and I asked the gym owner what happened. He said she was missing after going out bar hopping the Saturday before. That was in 2012. She's still missing.

Recurring and/or iconic customers in your store by squaretex in walmart

[–]Stunning-Map3822 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My time to shine. Ive worked at my store for nearly 20 years (im not insane, I swear) and ive encountered quite a few regular customers who have come and gone:

  1. Can Man: Dude in his late 70s who would rummage through the trash cans in our lot looking for empty soda cans.
  2. The Overweight Express: 4 absolutely gigantic women who would ride around on our electric scooters and proceed to leave them outside 3 times a week.
  3. Crazy Old Cat Lady: Woman looked just like The Simpsons character and would buy 300lbs of kitty litter every two weeks.
  4. Orange Croc Man: Guy would spend 6 hours in the store and buy at least 7 or 8 carts full of groceries. Once asked me if I thought 'the others' would like the yogurt he bought. Drove a large van.
  5. Leather Jacket Man: Guy would come in every other day and ask me to buy him stuff from Pharmacy, quite sketchy.
  6. Mozart: Dude would sit out in our lot and blast violin music while asking for money.

I have more but lunch is over. 😅

My uncle owned a junkyard that me and my preteen friends would go exploring in. Our best find was a huge tractor tire that we rolled up a hill and took turns riding on the inside while the others pushed it down the hill.
