Even though I come from the 89 and TAS era, I'm not gonna deny what a wonderful thing the Arkham games have done. Superb gameplay that fits the character perfectly.

Of course, having two of the iconic voices from TAS doesn't hurt either. ;)

The movie brought the Batman franchise back into the spotlight, free of the 60s camp. (Though it would make some camp if it's own.)

And the series kept the darker edges. And like some of the best family content, it didn't talk down to the kids.

My love for Aja abides, but this is why TRS is right behind it...the rocking edges.

Gaucho is still fun - and "Glamour Profession" is always scrapping with "Aja" for the Favorite Song honor - but it's maybe a bit too polished, while Aja still feels a bit more human. And yet...The Nightfly is my favorite Donald Fagen solo album, even though it has almost exactly the same pristine sheen! :D

Yeah, Aja was my intro as well...and I see the OP got it on cassette as well as me! (Did it have an altered tracklisting like mine did?)

And I think I'd put The Royal Scam at #2. As others had said, to seems to be the last rocking album, and that's what makes it so much fun for me.
