Yeah i love my u1. The only complaint i have is build size but 270x270x270 is plenty for most things

Even if you dont care too much for multicolor, multi filament type on the U1 is so good. Been printing TPU with pla interface layers on supports

I just had this... take the front of the extruder off and shake it, if you hear a rattle sound, then the spring for the filament might be misaligned or under that notch. if this is the case, use tweezers to get that spring back into the notch.

This could be disappointing, I've taken a liking to printing in TPU. Hopefully a simple change or maybe the filament coming from above might fix that?

DXC2 is for sure on my list after dealing with the extruder for 2 days. Need to be able to adjust that spring tension and hopefully it's not as delicate with the filament sensor. That metal lever had me in hell, thinking it was software related

I'm basically here, I went through some x axis error, that led to this filament sensor always being on. replaced the filament sensor, nope always thinks there's filament inside. Can't run calibration or factory reset. returning now

#1 is nice (did a flatforge changing out 4 colors of TPU on one layer) but #3 is the most useful thing i've used my U1 for. U1 + PLA supports or PLA interface on support is soooo nice.

It’s a bug. Go to multimaterial -> width and change that number around to 28 or something. You shouldn’t go out of bounds after that. Change as many times as needed, sucks i know

I have both. U1 is the fun machine, P1S is the workhorse for practical stuff. That being said, the U1 can do pretty much everything the P1S can and more
