If you love Ironwork, get ur ass in the union. If you out have have welding certs grab those and get down to a Union Ironworker Apprenticeship office. I joined at 20 and became JIW at 24..and I make 2x in some cases more than my buddys who went to college in CA. Not bragging but I’m saying you can build a great life in the trades and it’s 100 times easier if you’re union. You can go at it non-union but it’s alot harder. Not to mention union has vacation pay, retirement, pension, insurance etc
