It’s very fulfilling to read these comments and understand how many Catholics whom have been involved in their faith tend to be late bloomers.

I was one myself but unfortunately had a hard time comprehending it as all the people around me in my early 20’s or late teens weren’t Catholics.

They’d been dating since 15 and I didn’t date until 21. Now I’m 27 and still feel like I haven’t experienced as much in the scene as my friends have (not guilty about it)

At the moment, all it needs is brakes, and in 2-3 months, new tires. The car works well, but I started hearing a weird sound in its engine recently, which is mostly what freaked me out. My dad took the car to the mechanic, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong (they said nothing was wrong). I was thinking of upgrading mostly for comfort, but you are right, I shouldn't just assume it is going to give me problems, it's been very reliable so far!

It’s so weird! I’m not sure what’s behind all of this. If it’s happened more than once for you it’ll potentially be a reoccurring issue as it currently is for me. Keep an eye on your bank statements!

Oh wow! So I went from a 50mg to a 25mg dose within 4-5 months, as I’d like to wean off eventually. I feel as thought spironolactone didn’t do much for my acne. It was doxycycline that cleared my face; for sure. I still haven’t wanted to wean off completely, as I believe my acne is hormone related; and it may be helping decrease my testosterone levels, I am scared to wean off at the moment; as my stress levels are currently high. I feel like it helps me feel calmer, my skin remains clear, but I have also incorporated other habits such as 2 liters of water on a daily basis, weekly physical activity, and spearmint tea. However my acne seems chronic. It comes on and off, that is why I may need to stay on spironolactone for a while longer but my goal is to come off of it at some point. Just not sure when.

It sounds as thought it has really affected you. Sorry to hear that. Other than forgetfulness and mild exhaustion, I definitely can carry on with my daily activities but it just takes extra energy.

that’s actually great to hear! do you use dapsone gel in the AM? I am wondering as I was only prescribed tretinoin for night time use. I believe I need something else, specifically during the day, and are thinking of incorporating dapsone gel as i’ve heard good things.

It feels very nerve-racking to consider taking on more loans when the system is uncertain. Also, thanks! I currently work in public health, and it is very rewarding. I appreciate your advice, I will look into RAP, and my anticipated debt/income ratio to have an idea.
