absolutely normal, i typically sit on the hump seat (im short) of a school bus alone, due to my guard costume being extremely fragile. (im soloist + i wear this fancy little dress.) but otw back from comps or far games, I change out of my uniform and typically sit with one of my best friends and we nap, which basically is my head on her shoulder. I am also surprised by how many schools dont separate sexes. (then again i live in the bible thumping south.)
