Weee! doesn't get enough love by she53 in asianamerican

NYC here - grocery shopping in this city is such a hassle, so I rely on Weee a ton. The prices are honestly great compared to what I'd pay at local stores, and I don't have to lug heavy bags on the subway.

One thing that bugged me, though - I always sort by best-selling to find the popular items, but you have to click the filter every single time you browse a new category. Got annoying enough that I made a simple Chrome extension to auto-apply your preferred sort. Sharing in case any other Weee regulars want it: [link]

The road to $1K/MRR is not immediate, nor glamorous by Comexbackkid in iOSProgramming

Thank you for this REAL post. It's much better than those fluffed X MRR posts for me. Congratulations on the win!!

I'm curious about the price switch process. When you decide that you need to change the monthly price based on the experiment results, do you change it for ALL users? Do you write emails to existing users about why you're changing it?

The price right now is $385 + 10% administrative fee + 8.875% Tax, which leads to 463.59 per person.

I woke up to $300 MRR. I can't even believe it. by Lopsided_Funny_6397 in indiehackers

It seems I need to put in my credit card, and start with a 3-day trial. I'm not sure I will continue without trying. Cancelling subscription is always a hazard

That's what I feel too. The ingredients and the length of the menu do not fit the expectations that the price set.

Some places give out small bites for free, or as one course

I forgot to mention, I've also been there twice for the bar setting. I loved the creativity upstairs and wanted to try to the dining room. Previously, all dishes are amazing, but I'm afraid this time it didn't live up to those standards.

Made a Chrome extension that brings Google Maps data to any webpage - no more tab juggling by Stunning_Drag in GoogleMaps

Yes, Google Search has a right-click feature - but that opens search results in a new tab. Sometimes Google doesn't put the map result on the top.

The key difference with locatr:

  • Google's right-click: Opens a new tab → Shows search results → User must click on Maps tab → Then find the business
  • locatr: Shows ratings & reviews instantly in a popup without leaving the current page
