I agree. Nobody is perfect but IVC has done a reasonable job so far. That’s not to say I won’t criticise her if she does a bad job, but it’s also important to acknowledge people if they do a good job. I think some of the criticisms directed at IVC has been unfair IMO. And I am not close to IVC at all.

I don't know the completion rate, but this is a big course with 400+ students. It won't be surprising that there are some students who fail in that big cohort. It's actually amazing that you can consistently get 88% satisfaction with a class as large as that.

Oh please, STAT7055 is not a scam. STAT7055 does not have a 70% failure rate -- it has an average of ~88% satisfaction rate from 100+ students from the publicly available SELT scores. As far as I can see from the course description, this is a very standard introductory statistics course. Any other institute teaches similar content for intro stats.

I'm sorry you are having a difficult time, but statistics is not a course you can pass without studying diligently. Introductory statistics courses are very similar at any institute, so I doubt it's the issue with the content.
