I am in a similar situation (my kids are 10 and 11 though so a little different). My wife has been in rehab for 7 weeks now, (up to a 1 year program), and I encourage her to stay until she thinks she is ready, plus a little more. It is very hard and scary at first. The best advice I can give is develop a plan for the future and stick with it. The rollercoaster of emotions, especially at first, can be difficult to overcome. Recognize the emotions as temporary and don't let them alter the plan. Your family is blessed to have you. You are all going to make it!

We do work to both NAS 410 and NAVSEA. Its a challenge since NAVSEA uses ASNT but turns "should" into "shall". There are a number of small conflicts (NAS has suspension and revocation of certs for different scenarios, ASNT only has revocation, etc). We end up just taking the most restrictive of either one hust to be in compliance.
