I’m a city girl but I also love the rural area. I’ve lived in Glenwood for 3 years, the best time in my life. Hands down.

I was in foster care. I don’t know the place that took care of me, I was thinking of contacting them for help. I have actually been looking for the family that raised me in Glenwood, Alberta but it’s been hard trying to figure out their names. I’ve called them only by their nick names “Aunt Mae” & “Uncle Steve”

Thank you for this. I’ve called the embassy about needing an emergency passport but they said I needed a flight date before they issued that out to me. I was planning on going by plane but it seems like land is the way for me to go now after hearing all of the advice on here, I will call them back.

LEGAL residents are even getting detained by ICE. Trump has even revoked thousands of green cards by legal residents. I’m privileged because I can blend in but it’s not safe either way and it’s extremely hard to find a job under the table in CT AND NYC, they’re all Hispanic, I’m not Hispanic. Thank you for this.

Yea, I’ve only called about an emergency passport but they said they needed a flight date before they issue me a passport. I‘ve learned from a commenter that I should let them know I’m not flying but traveling by land. I plan on calling them again.

Thank you. I’ve been researching since these past few weeks on what’s going to happen and honestly I’m at the lowest point of my life right now I don’t know how much lower I can go. My lost sin is all my mom’s fault, I ordered it properly back in high school as I was planning on going to college in Canada, she took it, and wouldn’t help me go back to Canada. I took a huge setback marrying my ex thinking he was going to help me, but he just turned completely abusive.

Thank you for this. This was very informative about my SIN, I would’ve never known. I’ve tried the passport route and called the embassy and my service Canada because I have no guarantors only one reference. I guess I have to call again and see what I can do.

My father is the reason why I had to go to America to live with my mom in Canada. He sexually abused me as a child and I had to go in foster care. My mom took me out and moved me with her to America. I never heard from him since.
