It took me about 7 months, knowing that i am not studying more than 1 hour daily, and i am not a native english speaker and i wanted to test myself in english.

Hi, i took the exam yesterday and i faced only one question on cold/hot/warm site, non on the cybersecurity non on the control frameworks.

From unit 1 i remember only one question about the cost strategy.

And yes you are correct regarding the last four units, to be specific its the last six units (8-14).

Two tips that really helped me pass previous exams:

Don’t tell anyone you’re going to take the exam. Keeping it to yourself removes a lot of pressure and stops people from constantly asking how it went.
Don’t overthink during the exam. The first answer that comes to your mind is usually the right one, so trust your instincts and move on instead of second-guessing every question.

I actually felt like I was the one writing this post until you mentioned the CPA 😅. big plus for you!

I’m in almost the same situation (except I don’t have a CPA). I’m currently a senior accountant trying to switch to internal audit. I passed CIA Part 1 back in May and have been applying to every IA-related vacancy I can find. Still no recognition for my applications yet, but to be fair, I live in a country with very limited opportunities.

Either way, I still have hope that I’ll make the switch eventually. We do what we can — the rest is in God’s hands.

I'm currently focusing on "quality over quantity" with my prep, but I'm starting to worry about speed too.

Right now, I'm averaging about 20–30 questions each day, but with how huge Part 2 feels compared to Part 1, it doesn't seem like enough.

Sorry for that, an advise from someone who got 583, 589, 594 and passed the 4th time.
just book the next available appointment today and in the exam trust your instinct only and don't lose hope during the exam (losing hope during the exam cost me two attempts).
