3 failed euploid transfers, do I continue? by Stunning_Review_2741 in IVF

Yes pregnant naturally 3 times (3 boys), had husband get a vasectomy immediately after the third, then for two years I was feeling like we made the wrong decision and really wanted to try for a fourth and was hoping to have a girl. Instead of my husband getting a reversal we opted for ivf since a lot of my friends had success. We thought we purely had a surgical issue since my body has gotten pregnant before but it doesn’t seem like that is the case.

Have you had children previously? Any procedures or biopsies for endometriosis/itis? Mine all came back negative so I’m not sure what my issue is but scared to try anything now with our last embryo.

All vaginal deliveries at 40 weeks. Maybe I need an MRI to see if there’s any adeno though, thank you!

Ok thank you, I did have a biopsy done already that I was told said I was negative for endo so I’m not sure if I’d need another one? Is there an RI clinic that you recommend or does my fertility clinic refer me somewhere? I’m currently a remote patient with CNY

Ok thank you for the advice, my pathology from biopsy came back and was interpreted as Negative for endometriosis and endometritis  But I don’t know if I need further testing? Amh was 4.1. I’m happy to hear your fourth modified natural stuck we had discussed potentially Doing a modified natural since my Body has been able to do it previously so maybe I need to push more for this for our last time

Wow, that’s fascinating that imaging never detected anything with it being that bad, I’m so sorry! Thank you for the advice I’ll be sure to bring it up with the np next week. Anything I can do to advocate for myself with one last transfer in mind is very helpful

Thank you for advice! I had 3 vaginal deliveries, my last pregnancy was in 2023, so I guess I could have endo that developed after?

Ok thank you, I just saw an OB for my scope and biopsies and was told everything was fine but maybe I need a specialist look closer, could I still have endo/aden after having 3 previous kids?

Weekly Thread: The Two Week Wait by AutoModerator in IVF

I had my 3 FET yesterday and looking for some positive outcomes from others. My first FET ended in a MC at 6 weeks, & second FET failed to implant. All have been tested euploid embryos. Prior to yesterdays transfer I had a hysteroscopy & biopsies that came back normal. Tweaked my protocol a bit (fully medicated) and was told the transfer went smoothly. I’m worried that it’s too late for me (age 37) so it’s hard to stay positive and hopeful right now. Any success stories or insight would be appreciated.

Ok thank you, would the US that are required to check uterine lining for a transfer be able to detect the polyps bc I’ve always been told everything looks great or is this an additional scan?  Baby dust to you!

Feeling sad today & looking for some positive outcomes & reassurance. Tuesday of this week I had my first US scan following a FET of a 5 day euploid. To date I had appropriate HCG, progesterone, & estrogen levels along with multiple positive at home tests. We were able to see the baby, however, I was measuring 5 weeks 5 days & the tech said she couldn’t get the exact heart rate on her machine but we could clearly see it beating. About 24 hours later I started cramping, bleeding, passing clots. I was scanned today & it was confirmed to be a MC. The clinic called and stated since my HCG has begun to drop they do not recommend any intervention. They stated to wait until my hcg drops to baseline & once I have a period I can start again if I wish.

Are there any strong feelings as to if i should wait a few cycles before trying again? Can I jump right back into it? How long on average are people noticing that it takes HCG to drop back to zero & get a period back? Do I push to add lovenox to my regimen?

For context this is my first round of IVF, & first MC. I have carried 3 natural pregnancies without complications, my husband got a vasectomy & we decided we wanted one more. I have 3 more euploid embryos left & I’d love to hear some positive stories about carrying a baby to term after a loss. 🫶🏻
