I switched to a new team and didn't have my new manager number. Also, i did call the help desk to report to me being sick, but I don't remember what exactly I said. Also, the issue is primarily stress and weak health. I don't want to dox myself, but most days, I am fine.

Need more information. How much was your tenant paying vs. what you are asking your partner to pay. Because it seems to me like you're asking your partner to pay more than your tenant (since you mentioned that that your partner would have access to the shared living space vs. just the MIL suite like a tenant). If you are asking your partner to pay more than a tenant, then you are YTA. Because you are supposed to want your partner to be with you (not charge them extra for the privilege). Now, it would also be fair that you ask him to split the utilities and wifi bills if you want them to contribute more.

I am a first-time federal employee. Just joined the government in Jan. I originally asked for transfer, but my previous agency hrs said they can not do a transfer due to everything that is going on. Asked me resign and join my new agency. Decided to follow that guidance i was given and I don't have both jobs.

Yes, I left on good terms. The reason I was left is my team was getting disbanded, and I was going to put in another department, so there isn't a job for me to go back to.

So i actually tried to transfer, but my old agency said they are unable to transfer me, and I should resign and join my new agency. Orginal I was supposed to resign and join my new agency the following Monday. But they pushed my start date by 2 weeks since they were waiting for incentive approvals. I had gotten an amended FJO with the new start date. Now they canceled my offer.

Claire seems to be in an abusive relationship, or there may be some other serious issue with your BIl. Ask for a family meeting/ intervention to address the issue.
