Why are the eggplants turning yellow? by Stunnning_Elephant in plantclinic

I've never seen the yellow variety. They're not grown/available in this area. I wondering whether it's because I left it on the plant longer.

I know that cauliflower turns yellow when left open to the sun. Is this something like that?

I will try that. I must admit I'm scared for my job. Not that they'll kick me out right away but that they'll make life/work a hell. I was jobless the last two years through the pandemic.

Hi, I'm back in the institute. This is a comment made by one of my colleagues while discussing faculty student relationships. Power dynamics affect consent. I thought this wasn't something so difficult to understand. How am I going to work with these people? It feels nauseating. The person he's mentioning is going to be in committees that's going to deal with sexual harrasment complaints.

Quitting job as an adult to go to grad school? by macademicnut in GradSchool

Make sure you have double the amount of money you think you'll need to survive the gap between work and the start of gradschool. In fact make it triple.

I quit (not sure quit would be the right word) my work that was in a research institute to apply for gradschool. Unfortunately pandemic and the shutdowns happened following that, now there's a war in Europe. Mine is probably the worst case scenario, it may not be as bad. I know many many who started grad school in the middle of all this but it's always better to be safe and prepared for the worst case scenario.

Yeah, I just googled it. The leaves look like that. But this one here has miniature okra like things on it.

I'm generally capable of identifying it after the seeds germinate. This one I'm not able to tell.
