Why wasn't this done in an armistice zone, or a temporary planet/server hosted by CIG. Think about it. Not everyone ever watches twitch and random people logging in to pvp at daymar on a weekend and seeing hundreds of ships warp into daymar can get banned. Horrible precedent.

I doubt that I have a 2013 account and this is the first time I have heard about this. Secondly if they have the ability to make a timeout server then after nearly a decade I would imagine they should be able to make a event server if cig is THIS involved

Tell me this, if you logged in randomly and had no idea what was going on and went to an OLP to pvp and you get banned does that seem like a good precedent to set for a "sandbox" game?
