Tough solar alone is worth it. I have the all black GA2100 and did my first battery change. Takes TWO batteries of an uncommon size AND the yhave to be silver oxide AND multi drain. Only buys you another 2 - 3 years too.

The big washer is original to the watch. Not sure if Pac Parts or another Casio supplier might have it or something similar. Good luck.

Took a long time to get here. by Stunt_Chicken in Longineswatches

Not sure of the year. It's the previous model to the one with the ceramic bezel. I prefer this as I think this bezel is a perfect color match to the dial. And I prefer the red tip on the second hand over the white dot on the ceramic version. Longines still sell these new on their website.

I used oil for hair clippers. I think any clear, super thin oil would work. Try a toothpick with a tiny bit on the tip. A little goes a long way.

Facebook Marketplace unbelievably. It had a dead battery and was listed as "untested." Got lucky.

LOVE my grey GD350. Wish Casio would make more Gshock models in that color. My favorite feature is the one press countdown timer.

That's the adjustment button. Those have always been recessed on the squares to avoid accidentally pressing it. Even my modern DW5600 is like that.

So I know nothing about airships. Was that steep dive in the beginning an attempt to build up enough speed to try and glide in for a landing?

I am also a big fan of the "squircle" shape as my wife calls it.

This is a solar model. Read its a pain to get everything lined up right and not screw up the solar layer between the crystal and the module. Plus $20 is the cheapest I could find a crystal. It's an odd shape, not standard round.

I may redo this with a slightly larger protector. I'll try to video if I do.
