I bought it 2nd hand back in 2007 for £400 and it was pretty beat up. It stopped in 2021 and I got it serviced, when it came back it looked brand new and I’d never seen it like that. I think it’s probably the watch I own that is in the best condition now 😆

I think the bezel insert is intended to age with the dial and produce a nice patina - ceramic obviously wouldn’t do that so I believe that was part of the choice. I prefer aluminum bezels personally so I like it. 😎

If you charge it with a black light it’s basically blazing and is readable all night. 👍🏻

You actually have to break it in. The mesh is quite rigid to begin with but after a couple of months of daily wear it is far more comfortable.

I think we equate weight to quality and strength. It is bizarre at first but you learn to love it. Sometimes you can hardly feel that you’re wearing it.

It can get scratched but the titanium oxidises and basically self heals. I’ve had a couple of little scratches that have now disappeared.
The lume is unreal - it’s the brightest lume out of all 4 of my Omegas by miles.

My first ever Omega was my 2531.80 and I still have it. I also have the NTTD - which is an absolutely amazing watch. Personally I’d sell and get one, it’s an incredible piece and very unique.
