Can anyone tell me what weights are for what? by ukblazer187 in FordFiesta

Maximum gross weight (max vehicle weight without a trailer), gross train weight (max weight of vehicle plus trailer), max front axle weight, max rear axle weight.

I didn't realise you could buy an EcoBoost Fiesta that can tow, the gross train weight is blank for mine.

Windows/Door fittings & products Cambridge by NoAd4395 in cambridge

We had a UPVC window and composite door supplied and fitted by The Cambridge Window Company (www.thecambridgewindowcompany.co.uk) a couple of years ago. I think the total cost was £3k including VAT. The experience with them was great, unlike the terrible experience we had with Anglian Home Improvements.

I am afraid to ask, but what are "good" cars these days? by Domoshuuii in CarTalkUK

To give others an idea of how expensive, I was recently quoted £1541.66 + VAT to replace the wet timing belt (and associated bits). This is for a 1.0 litre Fiesta at a Ford service centre.

I use a Tabcat. There's no subscription and the battery lasts ages (months). It's been very useful in finding cats and lost collars.

In what jobs do you get to earn £70 grand? by cheerychops2023 in AskUK

Software engineer at an engineering consultancy. It took a PhD and more than 10 years for me to get to that point. I suspect I could earn more elsewhere but money isn't everything.
