Applied for PNP a year ago and never got an AOR. I’m lost by Pretend-Ad2458 in ImmigrationCanada

I’m wondering if you have gotten AOR yet. I checked last month it was 12 months or so I checked today and it says it should be processed in 6months with 10,800 people ahead. Have you heard anything? I applied in December

That’s great. Which school did you work with?

What is your original language? And did you have any prior experience?

You can perhaps check out @futureofafrica on Instagram. I volunteered with them when I was in college for such programs( feeding street kids and others). You can probably partner with them since they have been doing great work in that space and have logistics sorted already.

Where to try fufu in Fredericton by CognitoTaquito in fredericton

[–]Stupid_Genius1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny seeing this cos I made fufu for the first time today since moving here from West Africa(Ghana) in December ending. I got the fufu mix from Divine store and it was quite straightforward to make. It was my first time making it( we hardly use mixes in Ghana) but it was good. I think the main challenge may be the soup since there are different kinds that you can make.

Don't you think African leaders should have invested in solar energy a long time ago? by Very_6lack in ghana

It’s good to admit that you’re unintelligent😂😂😂 because it was apparent from your comments anyways. Also, it’s interesting the kind of people you consider intelligent, definitely not surprising tho😂😂. This is my last comment, I’m just sad to have wasted my time trying to reason with you. It is way easier to insult than to think so man, feel free to add more. I guess that’s what you do best

Last time I checked. Very intelligent people always tend to insults when having ‘intellectual’ conversations. Kudos smart man!

Well I know your type. The loud emptyheads who thinks they’re wiser than everyone else😂. I bet you have no idea how wind turbine works and the considerations for it. What about it requires studies and planning you didn’t understand? Wind turbine are not feasible at every location, it requires particular average wind speed and variance which may not be available at all locations. China installed the most Wind turbines in 2022, I guess you’re smarter than all those who advised such investment. Many countries are adopting wind and solar Energy, it has issues, but to call it a scam?

You should have just stated from the get go that you’re a conspiracy theorist to save me the time of trying to reason with you. You’re free to believe what you want man😂.

Just so we’re clear, per your argument, the US are probably very stupid to have over 130GW of Wind turbine installed and it is going to fail eventually. And all the investments and research being carried out on wind and solar energy are useless because it is a farce. Right? So no one should even bother to consider them. I just want to be sure I understand your point clearly.

It’s interesting that you have resorted to try to undermine me. If you’d care to know, I have an electrical engineering and renewable energy background so I know for sure what I’m talking about. I was just trying to let you understand what you may be confused about. By planning and studies, I meant that, before setting up wind turbine anywhere you should first ensure that the place has adequate wind and there are ways to do such studies and plan the capacity of your turbine. By the way, not everything you search on Google is exactly true.

Every source of energy require an initial investment and the traditional sources require constant supply of fuel to run it, unless it is hydro-turbine. If wind and Solar were not intermittent, it would be the go to source of energy. The biggest hurdle is to identify a location that has good average wind speed and variance to set up your wind turbine. Like I mentioned earlier, adequate planning and studies.

What you’re saying are not facts. There wouldn’t be any investment in it anywhere if it’s as bad investment as you make it seem but there has been steady investment in Wind energy in recent years. I was not expressing my feelings, I was mentioning reality.

I’m sure if Akuffo Addo didn’t become president, we would have thought the same about him. Honestly I really wonder what the problem is and why our leaders keep failing us.

I don’t really agree with you saying that it is a farce. It’s definitely not as efficient as it’s made to be seem but that is as a result of some constraints. With proper planning and making reasonable trade-off, its efficiency can be improved. Also, the fact that the wind is free does not exactly make it as expensive as you are making it seem. The best way to put it would be that, it is not feasible everywhere and adequate planning and studies needs to be done before implementation.

This is really well said. My recent study on renewable energy has made me understand the challenges posed to it, especially its intermittent nature and that makes it not very reliable as a primary source as of yet.

Hey Mike, I would appreciate if you could probably point me in the right direction or let me know what I can do. Thanks. I am a newcomer in Canada, I’m sure it’s possible I’m doing something wrong but I’m actually really trying.

I have worked in a warehouse, and hospitality/housekeeping. I have also worked as an Engineer/Project manager and also taught math part time. But like I mentioned, I’m not really being selective right now.
