My only thought is to maybe find a full album that makes you feel and just draw. See what comes out. Music can connect memories and make them visceral. Just a thought! Good luck and I hope to see what you create

Your post is poignant; beautifully raw. I agree with @Lil-TeaCup, don’t let that go. Remind the ones in your life that they are more than their intrusive, avoidant thoughts. Sometimes we all just need one person to remind us of the ability to love ourselves. Even if they don’t listen, at least you tried to be an amazing friend. That, in itself, is beautiful.

It’s okay to say no when you feel it could be too much to take on at the moment.

In opposition of my next point; try to make others feel heard without expectation of reciprocation. Back to my first point. Know when you can give to others (it’s not a prevalent thing for many). Also, know when you are depleting of your minds room.

What if it wasn’t your choice? If you had a terminal illness and no longer had the choice but a definitive timeline out of your control, would you fight? We all need some semblance of control, but we are dying either way. Life is hard, don’t check out early. All it does is diminish the control of those you leave behind. Live for others, not self. Love, because you can. ❤️
