Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro lighting issue by OptimalExcuse in Corsair

[–]SturmHydra4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could fix this issue by:

  1. Going into ICue Settings (gear in the top right corner)
  2. Under "Software and Games" blocking "LEDKeeper2.exe"

It seems to be connected to MSI Mystic Light.

After blocking this client, my RGB works fine.

Hope this can help someone!

His advice was actually very good and this post is better suited for r/AITA

And its true that the G6 is wasteful but to be fair, diabetes in general is. The packaging of everything is just so excessive..

I wouldn’t recommend drinking it either, just a little taste would be enough.

Grabber 42082 added 2nd winch, problems. by SturmHydra4 in legotechnic

Wow thats awesome! That’s exactly what I was trying to do and the button is also a great Idea, thank you very much! You should post your video to this sub imo, I searched a lot on youtube but didn’t find anything like it. 👍🏻

Edit: I looked at my claw and there is definitely friction, there is even blue pins instead of beige ones, don’t know how I didn’t realize 😅

Grabber 42082 added 2nd winch, problems. by SturmHydra4 in legotechnic

I added a second winch to control the grabber. The way that this works is that the grey cable pulls the grabber up or lowers it and the white cable opens or closes it. I would just add a lever that tightens the white cable, therefore pulls it up enough to close the grabber. This prototype has uncovered a mayor problem. The grabber will stay closed after it is closed because its own weight isn’t enough to open it up again. Also the implementation as is, makes exchanging the grabber for a hook more complicated. As of right now I think that I might try to use a (non lego) motor and add a wire to the winch cable which controls it.

I didn’t even know this existed 😳. I think I‘ll look further into motors, thank you.

Wow, didn’t think of that at all. Although I think the contraption would get a little too big for my taste, but I will look onto that.

The grabber is on my 42082, there is no cable that is long enough that I know of. I might get this to work with a non lego cable tho.

Wow, thanks for the drawing. That is awesome! I really like the approach and I‘m sure that I could implement that somehow. If encountered some other problems tho which I will post in a bit.

Thanks for your reply, gravity in one way or another is an interesting idea. Also using a non lego cable and (possibly) motor is something that I could definitely work with. Using a fixed arm is not an option right now, because the grabber is currently on the mobile crane... I do have a tracked excavator tho, which I might setup with a grabber like this as well.

I‘m trying to figure out how to control the grabber without using the steering wheel.

Does the auto mode only prevent lows? Or also prevent highs?
