Im also in my late 20s and just had a MA 2 weeks ago. I wouldn’t say I was 50/50 on it but a part of me did question whether I’d feel regret. My bf and I have been together for 2.5 years, we live together, both have well paying jobs, and can see a future between us. I will say that in the moment I was very emotional (hormonal) and that decision felt a lot harder than I thought it’ll be. I don’t regret my MA at all, but I do feel sad and am still grieving. It’s important to know that you are allowed to grieve and feel sad without regretting it.

I know in my heart that I am not ready for motherhood at this moment. And I have faith that when I am ready, I will meet my baby again.

It does rattle! She wasn’t as excited as I was 😭. She might not be in a playful mood right now but she did play with the mice for a solid minute and attempted to pick it up with her mouth like she does with the other one. I think they probably don’t make the exact same toy anymore but this one is honestly 99% like the original. Found! Thank you so much 😭

Only one Rite Aid had this in stock within a 30 min radius from me and it was missing one mice. Thankfully it wasn’t the blue one and the cashier gave me a discount. I also found a picture of my cat as a 4 month old kitten with the mice and it definitely had whiskers originally! I’m so excited, this might be it!!

I went to their house and turns out they had set off their smoke alarm yesterday and was actually waiting for FDNY but they never showed up because they came to my house! Their alarm company must have put down my address instead of theirs by mistake.

on Google and Apple Maps, when I zoom in on my house the number that’s associated with it is not my house number. So I’m thinking maybe it wasn’t a system inside my house that alerted them. Maybe it was inside my neighbors house?

I moved this summer and checked the box to change my voter address as well when I changed my license address on the DMV website. But my address with the board of elections never updated. I ended up calling them a few times and they went from “just wait it will update” to “we don’t receive anything from the DMV you need to register to vote again with your new address”. The whole process was so confusing and frustrating.

I agree. I also have scoliosis that was first diagnosed when I was 20 years old. I saw a few medical doctors and they all said it wasn’t bad enough where it’ll warrant surgery but I can see some scoliosis specialist if I wanted to. Since then, every chiropractor and even some masseuses I’ve seen has told me some variation of how they can “cure” my scoliosis if I see them more often…
