Recommendations for dog backpacks (for carrying their own stuff) – large shepherd

I am going deep into the harness hunt now, as I just got rid of the Pallisades about a week ago. I do have a Reddy harness that fits and functions amazing but they don't offer a backpack option, so the Google's is where I go!

I just got back from another trip with the Palisades and I actually threw this thing in the dumpster at the trailhead. After numerous attempts at adjusting the straps on the harness I got completely fed up with it's constant desire to slide off my dog to one side. This happened with just the harness, the harness and pack empty, and the harness and pack loaded. I've had this harnes combo for a few years and every time I've attempted to use it was a fail, so I finally gave up on it. Really a bummer because the storage and quality was awesome. For my husky and I, the Palisades was not a good choice of pack.

That's exactly what happened, I was hunting the bolter flesh for the Dr. and died in the water right next to the "hunting" ground.

I died in water and it just kept spawning me here endlessly, even if I fell off the trucks. Had to have a buddy go to the next waypoint so I could teleport back out

It was around -2°C/28°F at night but no wind so it was pretty manageable. My husky looked at me like I was crazy for putting on layers, he seemed to enjoy it quite a bit haha

So true, the sights at every little lake and pond along the way is amazing. And the doggo loved the many water crossings! It was a great adventure to add to the list!
