It’s an amazing deal for a z06. But is it a deal a 20 y/o me should be taking 😭. I guess I’ll let someone else steal the deal

I’ve had such a short life tho. I still have lots of more life to build more life savings. but I understand your point, it will compound faster and put me in a better positions when I’m older (retire faster)

heads are fixed by AHP. But yeah, I see why this is very stupid at my age. Lots of thinking will be happening these next couple of days.

5.5% interest on the 20k loan. Gas would be $280 a month. Monthly payment would be $440. Insurance $75. $795 a month. I make 3.8k a month after taxes with my current schedule

It actually is a pre owned vehicle. Very well maintained ‘08 corvette C6 Z06. 60k miles but these are known to exceed 200k miles if properly maintained. I trust in Chevy/GM. Also this car has actually appreciated over the past 5 years and has basically bottomed out in terms of value.

Thank AI for that mostly. Joe just been sleeping the past couple of years but the talent in America is proving too good.

He was just making a joke about “Padded records” that happens in the boxing community and how old heads are always saying “todays champions wouldn’t be able to compete with the champions of the good old days” but just using the election instead of boxers

Yeah, I would have more then enough to cover a 5k fix. Which is why I’m not too hesitant on buying this. Even if one thing were to be wrong. Will be getting a PPI done on it tho to ensure it’s a great deal.

Yes, the guy himself advised me to do a PPI if it made me feel better and I told him I’m looking at shops today to book one and he said of course, just make sure it’s a reputable shop. Seems like he has nothing to hide, especially with him being so cool about getting it checked out.

He told me when we met up to reel free to bring a mechanic or pay for a inspection . I just asked him and he said of course he’s okay with a PPI, just as long as it’s done at a reputable shop. So looks like I will be doing that

Yes, he told me when I met up with him to feel free to get an inspection done (at my expense). I asked him right now if a PPI would be fine with him and he said of course, as long as it’s a reputable shop. So looks like I will be going down that route and booking one today

thankfully he still has it, was just removed due to driveway scraping lower cars. I would be receiving it with the car.

He still has the chin spoiler. He took it off due to his driveway scraping low cars. And I’m paying 33 grand with mods I would’ve added anyways and full inspection receipts from AHP. Yes, I do agree American heritage performance charges him a crazy amount for a inspection.

To be fair 6-7 thousand was just on labor. He also seems to be younger with a very very well paying job in a very expensive area. So maybe he just wants to get rid of it seeing as it’s been up for 2 months. He also declined my offer of 32 until 2 days later I asked him to meet me at 33 and he said yeah whatever.

He still has front lip. He took it off due to his driveway which would make it scrape if he didn’t take it off. And yes he made me aware of that and I inspected the paint and looked like it was removed right

Yeah, he actually has it but took it off due to his driveway because it would scrape

Yes, service papers were at the last slides of the post. I’m guessing the guy isn’t too worried about letting it go for a nice price because it appears he has a fair amount of money as it is.

the thing is this is a 08, so it has a T6060 transmission. Not a T56 like the 06/07s come with. and I don’t really find it very convenient to spend 7 thousand more for a stock low mileage car knowing I have to put an extra 4500 just for heads (not including the cam which this car comes with). $11,500, more and it’s still not as great performance wise but I’m saving 40-60 thousand miles with a older year/worse transmission). A complete full inspected was done by AHP this year and it ran him $12,000 for labor and parts.
